What is

REFLEXOLOGY

Reflexology is a gentle, holistic therapy with roots in ancient Egypt, China and India, practiced for over 4,000 years. Based on the idea that specific points on the feet, hands, and ears correspond to different parts of the body. It works with over 7,000 nerve endings in each foot to help promote deep relaxation, improve circulation, and support the body's natural balance. Cherished by many as a wellness practice for stress relief, better sleep and overall harmony, reflexology offers a mindful pause in a busy world - honouring the hardworking feet that carry us through life and reminding us how a simple, caring touch can restore both body and spirit.

The Benefits

OF REFLEXOLOGY

Improves wellbeing and vitality

Reflexology offers a space to unwind and reconnect, which may support a greater sense of wellbeing and encourage the body’s natural vitality to emerge.

Reduces overwhelm and tension

The calming environment of a reflexology session can offer a reset from the pressures of daily life, helping to ease physical tension and emotional overwhelm.

Supports emotional balance and mood

By creating time for stillness and connection, reflexology may help ease emotional tension and support a more balanced mood over time.

Promotes relaxation and ease

Reflexology invites the nervous system into a calmer, more balanced state, helping the body and mind experience deep relaxation, release tension, and enjoy a feeling of inner ease.

Renews energy and focus

Many people find that reflexology leaves them feeling more refreshed and mentally clearer, making space for renewed energy and presence.

Alleviates stress and anxiety

While everyone’s experience is unique, reflexology may provide a soothing touchpoint during times of stress, supporting emotional resilience and calm.

Enhances sleep and restfulness

Reflexology encourages a deeply relaxed state, which may support more restful sleep and a greater ability to unwind in the evenings.

Encourages calm and inner peace

The gentle, soothing rhythm of reflexology can create a profound sense of stillness and groundedness, helping to quiet the mind, ease emotional tension, and foster moments of deep peace

Stimulates circulation and flow

By applying gentle pressure to specific reflex points, reflexology may help support circulation and the natural flow of energy throughout the body.

Improves clarity and focus

Many people report feeling more mentally clear and focused after reflexology, possibly due to the release of tension and support for whole-body balance.

Mission

STATEMENT

At Willow and Stone Reflexology, our mission is to create a calm, nurturing space where you can slow down, reconnect, and restore balance—physically, mentally, and emotionally.

We work exclusively with women, holding space for their unique needs and experiences at every stage of life.

Guided by a deep love of nature and a lifestyle of gentle, sustainable well-being, our approach invites a slower pace, deeper connection, and alignment with your body’s natural rhythms. We believe every woman deserves the time, space, and compassionate care to prioritise her own well-being and healthy lifestyle without guilt—honouring the body’s wisdom, intuition, and its innate capacity to heal.

We know chronic stress plays a major role in many health challenges. Our restorative sessions help guide the body into a parasympathetic state—the calm, healing mode where true wellness begins.

Each session unfolds in our peaceful garden sanctuary: a warm, welcoming home space where nature holds space for healing, connection, and a grounded lifestyle. This work respects the slow and natural way we heal. It’s about gently returning to yourself—so you leave each session feeling centred, restored, and more at home in your body.

About me

A Sanctuary for Balance and Wellbeing

I’m Helen, founder of Willow and Stone Reflexology. I offer a calm, non-judgmental space where you can reset, unwind, and restore balance—whether you’re navigating stress, anxiety, burnout, or simply need a moment of stillness.

My Journey

Willow and Stone was born from my own period of reflection and self-discovery, including the recognition of my neurodivergence. For years, I worked in the high-pressure world of graphic design—where precision, structure, and perfection were constant demands. These expectations clashed with my way of working and, over time, took their toll.

An ADHD diagnosis helped me understand the challenges I’d faced and prompted me to seek new ways to protect my wellbeing. Around that time, I discovered reflexology. Its holistic approach — nurturing mind, body, and soul, and encouraging healthy living practices—resonated deeply. It gave me space to slow down, reconnect with my body, and find clarity. It also sparked a calling to support others in their own journeys to wellbeing.

My Approach

Willow and Stone is an extension of that calling: a space built on empathy, presence, and lived experience. Here, you can find relief from stress and overwhelm, enjoy quiet moments of relaxation, and protect your energy through regular, restorative pauses.

Training & Professional Standards

- Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology (570+ hours of study and practical training)

- In-depth anatomy and physiology knowledge

- Fully insured member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT)

Beyond the Treatment Room

I find grounding in slow, simple joys: gentle yoga, nature walks with my two adorable cavapoo doggies, poetry, autumn nights by the fire, and book club gatherings. These practices keep me present—and inspire the calm, restorative environment I offer to every client.

WHY 'WILLOW & STONE'

The name Willow and Stone reflects the balance of softness and strength—core values in both reflexology and holistic healing. The willow symbolises emotional release, flexibility, and growth, while the stone represents grounding, stability, and calm. Together, they evoke a natural harmony that mirrors the benefits of reflexology: restoring balance, focus, and inner peace.

The inspiration for the brand and its colour palette came from my first visit to Anglesey, where I was captivated by the island’s natural beauty and sense of calm. The stones along the coastline, with their subtle colours and textures, evoked the sea and its ability to bring joy and tranquillity. This deep connection with nature is central to Willow and Stone, guiding the soothing and restorative experience we offer in every session.
